Chiyoda Corporation announces that Chiyoda Singapore, a 100% subsidiary of Chiyoda Corporation, has been awarded an EPC Contract for Infineum Singapore Pte Ltd. for the new manufacturing facility at Pulau Ayer Chawan, Jurong Island. The facility is to produce saliycylate, a unique detergent component, which is a critical part of Infineum's highly differentiated top-tier passenger car and heavy duty oil formulations, and its marine additive product slate.

Tokyo, February 14, 2012 - Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today the launch of 8.4-inch SVGA, 10.4-inch SVGA and 12.1-inch SVGA color TFT-LCD modules. These industrial-use models feature super-wide viewing angles, wide-ranging operational temperatures and extended-duration LED backlighting. Sales of the 8.4-inch SVGA and 10.4-inch SVGA modules will begin on March 1, and for the 12.1-inch SVGA module on April 1, through Mitsubishi Electric offices worldwide. These industrial-use modules will be presented at FPD China 2012 held in Shanghai, China on March 20-22. Initial production has been set at 5,000 units per month for each model.

Thermal dispersion mass flow meters are applicable to the flow of single-phase pure gases, and gas mixtures of known composition, and less commonly, to a single phase liquids of known composition.

Technip has been awarded a contract by Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC), for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning assistance of their Gas and Condensate Export System project. The project is spread over onshore and offshore locations in two countries, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

The objective of the project is to deliver a combination of lean gas, condensate and sour gas through a single 12” export pipeline from Al Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) facilities in Saudi Arabia to Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) tie-in facility,namely the Intermediate Slug Catcher being constructed under KOC Project No EF/1718 near Al-Ahmadi, Kuwait. The facilities will also assist KPC / KJO in achieving one of their primary targets of 1% flaring by reducing the gas flared and additionally monetize valuable hydrocarbon resources.

Total export pipeline length is 110 kilometers, with 4 kilometers onshore in Saudi Arabia, followed by 47 kilometers offshore and 59 kilometers onshore in Kuwait.

Technip's operating center in Abu Dhabi will execute the project, which is scheduled to be completed by the second semester of 2014. Offshore installation will use the Comanche, one of the vessels which entered the Technip fleet with the acquisition of Global Industries.

The 007-100 and 007-120 Exd IIC Position Monitors are ATEX and IECEx certified for use in gas Zones 1 and 2 and dust Zones 21 and 22.

The CE marked, IP67 enclosures are supplied in either coated aluminium or ANC 4B (316) stainless steel. Metric and NPT cable entries up to M25 and ¾” are available. The products have been designed to accommodate, as an option, the latest version of the top mounted highly visible Klearvision position indicator that can be used in IIC hazardous areas. The 007-100 is a compact solution that can contain up to 2 switches or a 4-20mA position transmitter. The larger 007-120 can contain up to 4 switches and a 4-20mA position transmitter.

The 007-120 now carries cCSAus certification marking for use in Canada and the USA. (cCSAus certification of the 007-100 will follow during 2012).  Designed for use in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries both units can be fitted to a wide range of quarter turn or linear valve actuators.There is a very extensive range of monitoring equipment that can be fitted in this new range of Exd IIC Position Monitors.

Switch options include micro switches, hermetically sealed magnetically operated reed switches and standard or failsafe inductive proximity sensors. Potentiometers of various different values can be geared or directly driven. A solenoid back wiring facility can be provided so that switches and solenoid can be wired to the control room via a single multicore cable without the requirement for a separate junction box.

For continuous feedback of valve position or for monitoring the performance of critical emergency shutdown valves during partial stroke testing, 4- 20mA, 4-20mA + HART®, PROFIBUS® PA or FOUNDATION™ FIELDBUS position transmitters are available in K4-20 variants.

ZUG, Switzerland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 13, 2012-- Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq: FWLT) announced today that subsidiaries of its Global Engineering and Construction Group have been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCm) contract by Aramco Overseas Company B.V. (AOC), a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, and by Dow Europe Holding B.V. (Dow) for a propylene oxide (PO) unit at Jubail Industrial City in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This unit will be part of a world-scale, fully integrated chemicals complex, one of the largest of its kind in the world, which will be constructed, owned and operated by Sadara Chemical Company (Sadara), a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Dow. This contract has been awarded as an extension to the front-end engineering design (FEED) contract awarded to Foster Wheeler by AOC and Dow in 2008.

The Foster Wheeler contract value for the project was not disclosed and will be included in the company’s fourth-quarter 2011 bookings.  The world-scale unit is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2015.
