With its all-encompassing IP65 certified design the SPC-1881WP is a 18.5” widescreen multi touch stationary panel PCs with Intel® Core™ i3-4010U 1.70 GHz Processor, specifically designed to provide easier operation and boost productivity in areas that require frequent jet washing.

A slender, elegant aluminum housing not only emphasizes modernity but also offers all-around IP65 protection displaying superb mechanical stability and reliability. M12 connectors and the integrated VESA connector allows the device to withstand high water pressure from cleaning and offers a high level of waterproofing in humid environments. In areas such as food and beverage, and chemical manufacturing where frequent cleaning is a necessity, the SPC is ideal as it and itsconnectors are protected against dust and water to enable them to survive the rigors of jet washing and scrubbing whilst they are hung on either pedestals or pendants.

To further aid this, it features a widescreen with a ratio of 16:9, providing 40% more screen area than 4:3 displays. Furthermore, with the addition of multitouch capabilities they provide even greater control and viewing of SCADA information.

All of this is made possible with the inclusion of an Intel® Core™ i3-4010U 1.70 GHz Processor with independent graphical processing unit which provides support for Windows 10 and DirectX11 so it can handle more complicated and detailed graphics.

IEC-61850 is the specific standard for smart substations and defines the Ethernet protocol to be used for data communication and defines how devices in the substation communicate with each other. Its purpose is to check the system integrity and authenticate third-party users who would like to access the security features. Therefore, the privacy and confidentiality of the ECU-4784 series are assured.

The Intel CPU of ECU-4784 supports Intel VT-D functionality by using the VT-D hardware assistance built into Intel’s chipsets. The VT-D provides the necessary isolation to assure separation between each virtual machine’s computer resources.

Siemens has equipped the latest generation of its rugged, ready-to-run industrial notebooks with a multitude of practical functions for mobile engineering. The Simatic Field PG M5 programming device has been designed with pre-installed Simatic TIA Portal (Totally Integrated Automation) engineering software for fast and efficient configuration, commissioning, service and maintenance, as well as for engineering work in technical bureaus. MXview network management software is designed for configuring, monitoring and diagnosing network devices in Ethernet networks. It is specifically designed for industrial automation networks rather than enterprise class IT networks.
