Daelim wins contract to Supply Core Facilities to Korea’s Largest Combined Thermal Power

Daelim Industrial-MHI-Marubeni Consortium concluded a contract to supply core facilities, gas turbines and steam turbines to Ulsan #4 combined thermal power plant with Korea East-West Power at Grand Intercontinental Hotel on February 14. This project values at KRW510 billion, of which Daelim accounts for KRW236.8 billion excluding surtax.

More than 40 executives and staff including Hong-Chun Park, director of plant division at Daelim, Deok-Yoon Ahn, director of planning and management at Korea East-West Power, Wani, vice president of MHI, and Ofoshi, vice director of Marubeni took part in the ceremony. The Ulsan #4 combined thermal power plant to be built in Namhwa-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan, boasts the large production capacity with950MW among single combined thermal power plants in Korea, in which new technologies of MHI will be adopted. Prior to this, Daelim had won meaningful contracts to supply core facilities to Pyeogtaek Combined Thermal Power Plant phase 2 and Taean Power Plant Unit 9 & 10 projects.
